What I Wore Wednesday

If you are new to my blog What I Wore Wednesday is a post that I do to help me stay accountable with how I am dressing. As a stay at home mom/work at home mom it is easy to not worry with how you look. I try to put an effort in to what I am wearing each day so that I feel good about myself and so my husband likes what he sees when he comes home from work. I don't want to get in to a rut so to speak.

So here are a few of my looks for this last week.

Date night
Dress - Target
Jeans - Target
Belt - Kohl's
Purse - Gift

It rained here a lot. Rainy day wear.
Shirt - Target
Jeans - Hilfiger - TJ Maxx

Jacket - Gap (old)

I'm linking up with Lindsay at the Pleated Poppy.

Enjoy your day.

Scenes from the weekend

It rained here and when it rains it pours and well it poured here all weekend.

We spent the weekend at home (aside from running a few errands) and it was wonderful.

We watched movies, crafted, beaded, baked, napped, and just enjoyed spending fun quality time doing a bunch of nothing.

We were all looking outside watching the rain. It was soothing. And the boots were a must when taking the pooch out. She wasn't much on the rain though.

pumpkin chocolate chip muffins - the day just called for something warm and yummy

I loved making these necklaces with my little lady. She has quite an eye doesn't she?

I hope you had a great weekend.

Fun Friday Finds

Welcome Friday. I am so happy to see you!

I am ready for the weekend. My hubby and I started our weekend last night with a date night to a great restaurant! I will share more about our experience in a new post that I am going to start, details to come next week.

It is to be a rainy weekend here. We are hoping to take in our local pumpkin patch this weekend and a neighborhood hoedown. I hope the rain pauses for these fun events.

I am leaving you this friday with some fun finds .

You have to head over to register for this great giveaway.

I just love stamped silver jewelry and Lisa Leondard Designs is my favorite. She has a beautiful way of capturing things in such a sentimental way. I have received a few pieces as gifts and they are my favorite jewelry pieces to go to each day.

One lucky person is going to win a $75.00 Gift Card to Lisa Leonard's shop via The Mama Loves Papa Blog. It's a great time to start some Holiday shopping.

A Classic Look For Fall

In lieu of What I Wore Wednesday, I decided to post this picture of a look I love.

Very classic striped shirt, trench coat, jeans, and wellies. It's a cute look and great for fall.

Though it's not the rainy season in Florida, who knows I might get to wear my rain boots.

And I love that rust color flower. Just a small touch of the in color for the season.

I'm starting to substitute this morning at a local pre-school. I'm looking forward to a fun day :)!

Have a great Hump day!

Scenes from the weekend

We had BEAUTIFUL weather here all weekend. It was Glorious!!!

We spent the entire weekend outside it seems, had to soak up all of that goodness.

I put up more fall and halloween decorations this weekend. I like to decorate simply for fall, pumpkins, mums, fall florals and such. I wasn't going to do much more then I though my little lady is only going to be little for a while and appreciate the cutesy decorations so we added a bit more.

I LOVE to decorate with white pumpkins. We have a coastal theme to our home and the white pumpkins are a sweet fall touch and go so well with our decor. And I pulled out a few decorations made by my little lady in preschool and in Daisy's. What's a life with children without their artwork around the home. Love it. Sweet and such a simple touch.

I am heading today to buy mums for my front porch and to our local pumpkin patch for white pumpkins. I heard they only got a few in. Eeeek! AndI get to enjoy lunch with my hubby.

On a side note, I want to send a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to my friend Ashley who delivered her baby triplets yesterday. I am so excited for her and the family and can't wait to meet those precious little angles.

Also, was happy to watch the conviction of Amanda Knox overturned yesterday. I didn't follow the story extremely closely but was aware of it and happy that she is free and is coming home.

Have a great day.
