Birthday party inspiration

I have been MIA this week. This is the first week that my little one has been out of school and it has proven to be busier than the last week of school. I am ready for things to slow down to that nice leisure pace of summer. Next week!!!

I am planning my little one's 6th birthday party for later this month. While we have decided to hold it at a venue other than my home, it's just too hot here in late June to hold a party outdoors and that many people in my home is too much, here are some great ideas for any birthday party.



I am torn. I would love to create a table like this one by Amy Atlas, and I did enjoy planning last years party. Must remember how HOT it is here for here birthday. I love to create and put the parties together but we are planning a candy themed party at the sweetest venue. I can't wait to share pictures. And I can do the cake and think this cake is perfectly adorable. I love the pennant topper. Simple and sweet!
