I couldn't let the weekend go with out a tribute to the Kentucky Wildcats who are in the Final Four this weekend.

GO WILDCATS!!!!

I'm rooting for you all the way!


I wish I could be there. Not only are they in the final four, but in the semi-final game they are playing our in state rival, the Louisville Cardinals. Boy is it going to be a game like no other. It will certainly be a sea of red and BLUE.

Hello Friday I am so happy to see you. We are ready for a fun filled Easter activity weekend and it's not even Easter weekend. Love any holiday.


I LOVE this online magazine and this cover explains it all. Simple. Comfortable. Pretty. I want I want I want a small little beach bungalow with this in my back yard. I would be so happy!

Anthroplogie Dream List

I just took a look at Anthropologies spring line. There are many, MANY things that I love, but if money were no object these are the things that I would wish for.





















Only one thing, the adorable yellow polka dot skinnies, were over $100.00. Not too bad for anthro standards.

I especially love these pants, the large bead necklace, that white top, oh, and those silver sandals.

What I Wore Wednesday

It's Wednesday and I am linking up with Lindsay at The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday. I participate in this link up so that I will keep myself dressed and hold myself accountable for how I look. It's a lot of fun and sometimes a lot of pressure but most of all it keeps me getting dressed, and I don't mean just putting on some sweats and my hubby's t-shirt but actually thinking about what I'm wearing and looking a bit trendy and put together.

It was Spring Break last week and it was casual week, sorry not a picture one from this week, having a hard time getting back int o the swing of a routine.

These two are very casual fun looks and I was loving it last week. Here's to casual day every day!!!

I love this coral top. It's new and was on Targets clearance rack. It is slouchy and comfortable and the perfect color for spring and summer. Here we were heading to a landlocked "beach party". We enjoyed a bike ride to the party and I felt perfectly comfortable.

Easter is sneaking up on me this year, I can't believe its in two weeks. We have lots of Easter activities coming up this weekend and I haven't bought an Easter outfit for my daughter or have even begun decorating or easter basket gathering. I have lots to do.

I think a good start is to order this garland to decorate my mantle. It's perfectly sweet!

Scenes from the weekend

We had a great family weekend. Lots of yummy food, bike rides, games, read books, watched movies, and beach time. The perfect anecdote to the busy busy that is our daily life.



This movie was a box office hit scoring the top 3rd spot in all time revenue made. Can't wait to see it. I read the book and loved it. Date night soon!


Watched this movie for the first time. So inspirational!! It's a must see.



Read this book. Loved it. So happy to have found a new author.






Yummy new flavor of yogurt at Yogurtland.






Watched this one spend loads of time in the ocean boogy boarding inspite of the frigid water temperatures...

On a final note,



My team made it to the final four. And boy is it going to be a tournament. They are playing our rival, Louisville, the first in state rival since 1962. And it's being played in New Orleans. How fun!!!! Go BLUE!!!


It was hard getting up this morning and back in to the routine of things. Back to school, errands, homework and activities. I am refreshed and ready to take it on.

I found this little dress at Target. I must have passed it by so many times because I have been looking at all of the color that Target has in their clothing section. Some cute things but I found my way to my true self and discovered this dress and I love it.
So far my favorite thing that I have bought for spring and summer. It will surely be a staple and go to piece this year.

Scenes from the weekend

Happy Monday! Can you believe Spring is just a day away ?

We kicked off Spring Break week last Thursday. Yay! I am excited for some down time. We had a busy start to the break with lots of activities this weekend. We went to our local snow cone shop~gotta love this small town~after school on Thursday with some friends, we celebrated St. Paddy's day with green beer and dinner at a local irish pub and took in some scenery, and went to Epcot on Sunday to the flower and garden show~It always seems a great day to go to Disney, in spite of it being spring break the crowds seem low.

And to top it all off the weather was perfect!!! It was a fun weekend.
